Peninsula Title offers transaction coordination services for all involved parties in its role as a closing/title agent. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Working and communicating with the buyer, seller, real estate agents, and lender to verify the completion of inspections, ordering surveys, delivering open permit and lien searches, ensuring the delivery of title work and closing documents, and addressing all other aspects related to the closing process.
  • Getting in touch with agents after the closing to verify the successful conclusion of the transaction and to inform them that commission checks and copies of closing statements are ready for distribution.
  • Confirming with both the seller and buyer that the closing process is finalized, dispatching packages containing signed closing documents, and providing outgoing wire confirmations to the seller to ensure the closure and disbursement of the transaction.
  • Scheduling and sharing deadlines and dates among listing agents, cooperating agents, and lenders.
  • Informing all involved parties as deadlines approach and guaranteeing compliance with various deadlines such as deposit due dates, inspection periods/due diligence deadlines, and financing approval deadlines.
